I am an executive coach and business consultant integrating psychological understanding with business expertise to assist my clients in their professional and personal development. My focus is to help you and/or your organization maximize the potential of each individual on your team and of the interactions of the group as a whole. I have more than 16 years experience as a coach and trainer.

I understand business as well as psychology having spent more than 20 years as a practicing attorney with expertise in commercial real estate, development and financing. In that work, I learned the value of communication skills, negotiation, collaboration and self-management first hand. Now I work to assist clients by coaching or training to increase their self-awareness and self-management skills and to effectively handle challenges and change.

I am an internationally recognized expert in the Enneagram System of Personality and employ its detailed map of differing but equally valid worldviews in much of my work. In combination with my other experience, this affords me a sophisticated lens to assist businesses and individuals in professional development.

My clients include partners in major US law firms with emphasis on those working to balance the growth of their law practice with firm management responsibilities, as well as women and people of color facing diversity challenges. I coach management consultants, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. I am interested in issues of work opportunities and transitions for the “baby boomer” generation and have designed programs and workshops to address these emerging issues. I have been working lately with a large NGO through their training division to bring principles of interest based negotiation and multi-party collaboration skills to professionals in the Global Health field.

I am a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association, a project of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School and have responsibility at their annual conference “Coaching in Leadership in Medicine” as the lead interviewer working with conference presenters to bring their work to our Association members through Master Classes and online resources.

I have conducted workshops for the Department of Psychiatry at Ramathibodi Hospital Medical School at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand and for the University’s Institute for Contemplative Education. I am also the Co-Lead Trainer for Enneagram Thailand, since 2004, a teaching project seeking to bring the Enneagram to a diverse Thai student population including educators, health care professionals, business people, and those interested in professional and personal development.

I hold an A.B. degree from Washington University in St.Louis and a J.D. degree from the New England School of Law.
