Mr. Peers is President of Peers Management In Sydney NS, working as a professional consultant and due diligence contributor ­ within the greater Nova Scotia and Canadian communities ­ through government/business committees, editorials, chat lines, etc. Jim is apolitical.

As a national marketing and distribution projects manager and executive in mass merchandising firms, Mr. Peers developed hands on experience in designing and implementing major change in information, distribution and marketing systems and functions. As a consultant Š his clients have included Nova Scotia Power Corp., Clearwater, Tippins (Pittsburgh), many smaller organizations Š plus governments ­ Halifax Police Commission, Cape Breton Development Corp., City of Sydney, NS Departments of Development, Energy and Fisheries, and Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

Jim has a B. Com from McGill University and MBA from Harvard Business School. In 1992, Junior Achievement of Canada recognized his contribution to JA with their National Leadership Award and he received the City of SydneyΉs Volunteer of the Year Award in 1988.
