Performance Shift Leadership Tools is best known for its creative collaboration tools such as Who’s The Driver Anyway? and Role Driver team responsibilities system. Who’s The Driver Anyway? is a comprehensive training and coaching program aimed at mid-level managers that helps leaders make the shift to a collaborative team culture. It is based on John Kuypers’ provocative leadership book published by Carswell (2011).

Role Driver is a team responsibilities system that uses core Requisite Organization principles to ensure team members know their formal roles and responsibilities. It is used by top leaders to get team members on the same page; to facilitate collaborative change management; or to restructure org levels and positions. It is a collaborative process that uses a comprehensive Excel-based program so the workload of the entire team can be understood by all. This context is what makes changes accepted and successful.

John Kuypers is the president and founder. John has worked with several global companies including Bristol-Myers, General Mills, Cadbury Schweppes and TD Securities. His consulting experience covers a broad range of industries from manufacturing and services to not-for-profits. He is the author of three books, is an inspiring speaker and has appeared in numerous television, radio and print media.
