the attraction

There are some "traditions" that have evolved which encourage professional interest and Network unity. These are:

operational issues
costs
membership
location of meetings
meeting agendas & follow up
professional aspects of the network
financial arrangements

keeping clear the perspective

TRADITIONS
5. Meeting Agendas and Follow-Up

5.1 Each agenda covers a "core" list of items (review agenda, review of each member's expectations of the meeting, discussion of contracts of interest since the last meeting and associated problems/opportunities/lessons learned); and new business (strategic direction, marketing or R & D). In certain cases, a topic of special interest may be added.

5.2 Agenda items will reflect the wide range of experience and expertise of the membership.

5.3 The newsletter provides an entree to clients who like credibility and continuity in their consultants. General mailing lists should reviewed regularly to ensure we are hitting the people who hire consultants.

5.4 Conference calls provide a mechanism for group dialogue between meetings, and e-mail contacts are regularly made.
